So after a lengthy hiatus I thought it would be nice to post a lil something, starting with The Bug.
The Bug's been producing for years now in a more dancehall direction but his excursions into dubstep have been almost without peer. Comparisons can be drawn with Loefah's unbelievably heavy and sparse beats, though on his upcoming album 'London Zoo' Bug retains his dancehall sensibilities that give the tracks more drive and allow him to create different atmospheres through the various vocalists used, who are all on the dancehall/ragga tip.

Metal is awesome again and most impressive were albums from Despised Icon, Baroness and Between the Buried and Me. I know this is a little old by now but I still haven't heard much that has bettered them.

A Made Up Sound has been releasing lovely minimalist dubstep under the moniker 2562 and his new album Aerial is a fantastic piece of work.
